A class I would add to our school curriculum is a photography class. The class would meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after 8th period. The students in the class will learn how to take professional pictures and see what it's like being a professional photographer. Every Friday the students will be given an assignment where they have to take two pictures with the techniques they learn on Monday and Wednesday. The school will provide the students with a professional camera. If they lose it, they will have to pay the price the school payed for it. It will be their own responsibility until the end of the school year. The assignment each Friday will be due every Monday, and they will vary depending on what the students learn.
The classroom will have computers and cameras to use. The teacher will demonstrate everything on the cameras in the classroom, and the computers will be used to edit pictures. Students will also have to post their pictures to their photo gallery, and by the end of the year they get a book of all the pictures they took. The class will be 30 minutes long until the students will be able to leave school for the day. This class will count towards students' credits for them to graduate.
